From May 18-25, 2024, the Disney Dream will be taking members on a 7-night voyage to the Mediterranean, sailing out of Barcelona and stopping at ports in Italy and France. From June 14-19, the Disney Magic will sail out of Fort Lauderdale at take members on a 5-night voyage that includes two stops at Lighthouse Point and one at Castaway Cay. Disney Cruise Line recently announced their summer 2024 itineraries, which include the first sailings to Lighthouse Point, joining Castaway Cay as its second private destination. The port is located on the island of Eleuthera in The Bahamas and promises a relaxing beach escape combined with the color and vibrancy of the Bahamas. Adventure by Disney Pre- and Post-Cruise Escape Packages take place before and after select Disney Cruise Line sailings.

The Disney Wish sails 3-night and 4-night Bahamian cruises from Port Canaveral, visiting Nassau and Castaway Cay, for 2024. DVC owners must qualify for Membership Extras to book on the member cruise, which does still have some cabins available. Pixar Day at Sea will take place on select Disney Fantasy 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean cruises from Port Canaveral in early 2024. The Eastern Caribbean cruises are January 6, 20; February 3, 17 and March 2. The following sailings include Christmas Eve and Christmas Day (December 24-25, 2024). Castaway Cay, Disney’s private island, will be transformed with “snow” flurries, a Christmas tree and more.
Disney Cruise Line recently added their newest ship, the Disney Wish, to the fleet and will soon be adding the Disney Treasure, an entire ship themed around adventure. They’re also celebrating their Silver Anniversary at Sea this year, meaning select sailings are sprinkled with additional magic. DVC member cruises are only open to Disney Vacation Club members who have purchased at least some of their vacation points directly from Disney (rather than from another member via resale). Members can use their vacation points to book the cruise or can pay cash rates.
In order to book the June voyage on the Disney Magic, at least one passenger must be paid for using Disney Vacation Club points which qualify for Membership Extras. This requirement has been waived for the May European trip on the Disney Dream. Disney Vacation Club has set aside Saturday, April 22, 2023 as the day to make reservations for the two exclusive member cruises planned for 2024. For the Lighthouse Point voyage, at least one member of the party must be paid for using Disney Vacation Club points.
During this period there will be special Halloween events onboard, including Halloween-themed parties, storytellings, movies and elaborate décor, including The Pumpkin Tree, which magically transforms throughout the cruise. You will also find characters dressed in Halloween costumes, as well as a costume party for families and, just for adults, a costume contest and a Villainous Takeover on the dance floor in the nighttime entertainment district. Also available is the 5-night member-exclusive voyage aboard the Disney Magic which includes stops at both Castaway Cay and the new Lighthouse Point private islands.
